According to a new study, your boss might one day be replaced by a robot and it could happen in as little as five years.

Interesting Stat of the Day: 2.7 years. Researchers found that heads of state lived about 2.7 fewer years than those they defeated in an election.

British astronaut Tim Peake posted on Twitter that they will be having a screening of Star Wars The Force Awakens on the International Space Station.

Wheaton College has suspended a tenured professor for saying that Christians and Muslims worship the same God. She is also wearing a hijab for Advent, as a show of solidarity with Muslims in the wake of the San Bernardino shooting and subsequent anti-Muslim sentiment.

In technology news, Congress is fighting over the omnibus spending bill before they head home for Christmas. Tucked away in there is a $19.3 billion for NASA, more than the White House is asking for and a decent raise from last year.
