Gabatron Morning Briefing – 9-24-15: There’s No Way Your Information Hasn’t Been Compromised

Remember a couple of months ago, when the government said 1.1 million people who applied for government clearance had their information compromised? The good news is they were wrong about that. The bad news is the number was actually 5.6 million.

Interesting Stat of the Day: 86 percent. That’s the approval rating of Pope Francis in the United States.

Remember the high school kids who took out a referee in their football game? Now the principal of the school says they were ordered to do it by their coach.

The on again/off again war between Fox News Channel and Donald Trump is back on again. Trump tweeted that he would no longer be doing any Fox shows. He said they’ve been treating him “unfairly.” Fox released a statement that they were the ones who decided to cancel Trump’s interview with Bill O’Reilly.

In science news, researchers in Alaska have unearthed a new species of duck-billed dinosaurs that lived in cold climates 69 million years ago.

Plus, The court has ruled and the “Happy Birthday” song is in the public domain, no longer copyrighted and subject to royalties.
