A dad in Virginia decided to respond to his daughter racking up a $500 cell phone bill by putting a chain and padlock on her closet. He is now letting her work off the phone bill, labeling every item of clothing an accessory with a list of chores that she’ll have to do to get them back.

Interesting Stat of the Day: 8 percent. That’s the percentage of those between the ages of 18 to 34 who identified themselves as members of the Greatest Generation.

Jailed Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis says that any gay marriage licenses issued while she’s in jail are worthless.
