Gabatron Morning Briefing – 5-20-15: Attack of the Highly Sensitive People

It turns out that if you cry at the drop of a hat, there’s a technical term for you. You’re a “Highly Sensitive Person.” About 20% of people, male and female, are HSP’s, and the triggers could be anything.

In technology news, just in time for the release of Jurassic World in a couple of weeks, scientists are developing a “kill switch” to destroy genetically modified that escape.

In sports, the NFL has decided to move the 2-point conversion from the 2 yard line to the 15 yard line. That will start in the coming season.

Plus, millions of baby spiders rainned down on a small town in Australia one day last month. Apparently it’s called “ballooning,” and is fairly common.
