Blues legend B.B. King has died at his home in Las Vegas at the age of 89.

Missouri House Speaker John Diehl has resigned after it came to light that he was sexting with a college-aged intern. Diehl is 49, and married with three kids. The text messages are available online, thanks to the Kansas City Star.

Your Interesting stat of the day: According to a new poll 59 percent of Russians believe that the U.S. poses a significant threat to their nation. 33 percent were optimistic that Russia would defeat the U.S. if there were ever a war between our two countries.

In sports, according to a recent poll, over a third of basketball fans think that Michael Jordan, at the age of 52, could still beat present-day LeBron James.

Reddit says it’s going to take a more active role in preventing harassment among its members. They will now be prohibiting “attacks and harassment of individuals” through their website

Plus, Captain John Banigan of the USS Lake Erie had a long and illustrious Naval career that came to a crashing halt when he brought an unauthorized intruder on his ship. The intruder in question is Master Chief Charlie, a pygmy goat, the ship’s mascot.
