Gabatron Morning Briefing – 4-10-15: Fired Over Facebook

There was a goat terrorizing the ESPN campus for much of the day. The beast was eventually wrangled by security.

A limo driver here in the Chicago suburbs says that he was fired for not showing his employer his Facebook and LinkedIn pages. Here in Illinois, that’s actually against the law. The employer denies the whole thing happened. He is seeking $50,000 in damages. Do you think your employer has any right to look at your social media page?

The Masters is going on right now in Augusta. Interestingly they have a no cell phone policy while The Masters is going on.

Kurt Cobain’s daughter Frances Bean Cobain says that she really doesn’t like Nirvana.

Clorox is taking head for a post on their Twitter feed yesterday. They posted a Tweet asking where there is apparently no bleach emoji. This just happened to coincide with the introduction of, well let’s say, more racially diverse emojis.
