Gabatron Morning Briefing – 4-2-15: Cheating In The Animal Kingdom

Here in Chicago the Lincoln Park Zoo has a brand new high tech Snow Monkey habitat with a “testing area” where the monkeys use touch screen computers to complete some simple tasks. Researchers have already found that the monkeys are copying each others work.

A new Pew study on smartphone usage says that for 7% of Americans, smartphones are the only way they have to connect to the Internet.

The Japanese Defense Minister told parliament that while the country is prepared for any threat that aliens might pose, they have had no encounters or dealing with any aliens at this point.

Indiana lawmakers have agreed to a compromise that would ensure that gay and lesbian couples aren’t discriminated against.
