Gabatron Morning Briefing – 4-1-15: Parenting… You’re Doing It Right

Kyesha Smith Wood from Birmingham, Alabama learned that her teenage girls were rude at a movie theater. She made her kids write an apology note to the object of their rudeness, and took to Facebook to try to track them down so they could give it to them. It went viral, and sure enough the person was located. She that her daughters would pay for another movie for the family out of their allowance.

The average Major League Baseball salary is now $4 million per season. That’s a new record.

Newly minted Daily Show host Trevor Noah is taking some heat for some tweets that he’s posted. They are generally sexist and anti-semitic in addition to not being all the funny. He says they were just bad jokes, and people shouldn’t judge his career or character on some jokes that didn’t land. Comedy Central is standing by him

David Duchovny is about to be everywhere. Not only is The X-Files coming back for a limited engagement, but he’s also releasing an album. It’s called “Hell or Highwater,” it comes out on May 12th.
